FAQs

How long does my hair have to be to get waxed?

Your hair should be at LEAST 1/4 inch in length (about the length of a grain of rice). Ideally, you will have 2-3 weeks of hair growth. I know that might be hard for some people, but it’s totally worth it! If the hair is too short, the wax will not be able to grab onto it, so you won’t get very good results.

How long does it last?

It depends on several different factors (area of the body, condition of the hair, how long you have been getting waxed, etc.), but for the most part you should be hair-free for the first 1.5-2 weeks. When the hair does start to grow in, you will notice there’s really not that much of it, and it’s going to be so much softer!

How often should I get waxed?

Again, it depends on multiple different factors, but generally speaking I recommend getting waxed every 4 weeks. Once a month ain’t so bad!

Does it hurt?

Not nearly as bad as you might think! The first time you wax an area is always the worst, but it’s over so fast you won’t even have time to think about it! I’m here to make sure we can get you through your service as quick and comfortable as possible. Once you’ve gotten your first wax out of the way, it’ll feel like a breeze!

Can I get waxed if I’m on my period?

Yes, as long as you are wearing either a fresh tampon or menstrual cup! Just be aware that you may feel a little extra sensitivity, however this affects everyone differently.

Can I get waxed while pregnant?

Absolutely! This may also cause some extra sensitivity, however not guaranteed.

Do you do Male Brazilians?

No, not at this time.
